A Section-8 not-for-profit rooted in Bihar — building dignified livelihoods, empowering women, expanding education access, and strengthening communities through technology, compassion, and ground-level action.
OYMOM Foundation is a Section-8 not-for-profit company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U74999BR2017PTC036076), headquartered in Biharsharif, Bihar. We work at the intersection of rural livelihoods, women empowerment, education access, and community health — addressing the gaps that government systems and commercial markets leave behind.
Founded in 2022 by Er. Vishal Kumar Gupta, the Foundation began as a small pilot programme in two Bihar districts — a community problem, zero capital, and a determination to build something lasting. Today, we operate across all 38 Bihar districts and 100+ pincodes, through three legal entities, six active platforms, and a growing field team.
Our work touches farming families, rural women, first-generation learners, and underserved communities who need not charity — but systems, skills, and access that allow them to build their own futures.
A Bihar — and an India — where every rural family has access to dignified livelihoods, every woman has a certified skill and economic independence, every child has access to quality education, and every community has the tools to build its own future without waiting for anyone's charity.
Empowering rural and urban communities with certified skills, accessible technology, legal awareness, and economic opportunity — through legally-structured, impact-measurable programmes that meet people where they are and build pathways to where they deserve to be.
Started as BPSY pilot in 2017 in Nalanda and Patna districts with ₹0 and a community problem. Scaled to 6 district centres, then all 38 Bihar districts, now 100+ pincodes. RKVY-RAFTAAR grant of ₹25 lakh received. Research published in Frontiers in Veterinary Science.
